Red, White, and Blue Crepes

Inspired by a recipe I saw to make something festive for July 4th weekend! These crepes were so simple, yet delicious! Adding the blueberries and strawberries on top created a beautiful patriotic dish!

Inspired by a recipe I saw to make something festive for July 4th weekend! These crepes were so simple, yet delicious! Adding the blueberries and strawberries on top created a beautiful patriotic dish!

Recipe Patriotic Crepes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup almond flour

  • 1/3 cup cornstarch or arrowroot powder

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 teaspoons coconut nectar (can sub honey or maple syrup)

Instructions

1. Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl and whisk until combined.

2. Heat a medium skillet over low-medium heat with coconut oil.

3. Pour the batter over skillet and cook for about 2 minutes until bottom starts to get light brown. Flip and cook the opposite side until cooked through. Repeat until all batter is used.
